Platform and organisations

ShowInUp provides a technology platform to discover, publish and manage dog shows and registrations. It is not the organiser of events. The owning club or organisation decides and is responsible for rules, requirements, admission, event information, judges, results, changes, cancellations, refunds and delivery of the event.

Accounts and use

Registration is limited to persons aged 18 or over. Users must provide accurate information, keep it updated and safeguard their credentials. Fraudulent use, impersonation, process manipulation and infringement of third-party rights are prohibited.

ShowInUp may restrict, suspend or cancel an account in case of misuse, fraud, breach, security needs or protection of users, subject to applicable obligations.

Registrations, payments and free events

A registration is submitted to the organisation responsible for the event. The specific terms, price, deadlines, admission and required documentation are those set by that organisation.

Where an event requires payment, Stripe Checkout processes it through Stripe Connect. The configuration can apply a platform fee and transfer the relevant amount to the organisation's connected Stripe account. Fees apply only where the event or service configuration provides for them; ShowInUp does not set a specific fee in these terms.

Registrations totalling zero euros may be confirmed without a payment gateway when the platform formalises them.

Cancellations and refunds

Each event is organised by the entity identified as its organiser, which sets the applicable registration, cancellation and refund terms in compliance with applicable law.

Cancellation or refund requests must be addressed directly to the organising club. It is responsible for assessing and resolving each request in accordance with the event terms and legally recognised rights.

ShowInUp provides the registration and payment technology platform, but does not decide whether a refund request is accepted or refused.

These requests are handled outside ShowInUp, without prejudice to any technical steps that may be necessary to process a refund through the payment provider.

Content and liability

Organisations and users are responsible for having rights to the content and data they provide. ShowInUp does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of information supplied by an organisation or user. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
